A local Bushwick chef creates dishes with a dash of marijuana

As more people accept recreational use of cannabis, there is a new phenomenon: using cannabis or cannabis extracts as cooking ingredients. On April 20, commonly known as “Weed Day” among people who use cannabis recreationally, local chef Leighton Knowles organized a dinner party in Bushwick, where he served Caesar salad, grilled chicken with salsa and chocolate mousse, all prepared with cannabis extracts.
