Mile 8: Celebrate Love or Bananas? [Video]

As the New York City Marathon made its way through Downtown Brooklyn, the crowd braved the chilly start to the morning to cheer on the runners. As loved ones gathered along the sidelines with flags, bells, and neon-colored signs, the feeling of love and support was in the air.

This story shows the celebration some got to share when a family member passed them along the race route and also the disappointment of missing out on that moment.

It leaves one couple stuck sharing a banana.
