With the threat of coronavirus, hand sanitizers have become one the most sought after items. A recent survey showed that sales of the product were up 127.5 percent during February alone. Some distilleries in New York City have pivoted from producing alcohol to hand sanitizers to keep up with the demand. It’s been made easier for them to do so because legal regulations were loosened in late March.
