A Student Who Can’t Live Without Music

Nia-Simone Egerton is a high school senior who has mastered the cello while practicing at the Noel Pointer Foundation, which runs a music program that teaches students in underserved communities in New York City how to play string instruments. Nia is very proud of her accomplishments, including learning how to play the cello at four years old. She says she plans to turn her talent into a lifelong career.
