Nathan Bender reports from Chinatown Manhattan and the Lower East Side for NY City Lens. He is a graduate of Hampshire College where he specialized in globalization studies and photojournalism. He is a China-Fulbright Scholar, and a recipient their Critical Language Enhancement Award. He is currently enrolled at Columbia University’s School of Journalism on a Documentary specialization track.
