On February 22, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced movie theaters in New York City could reopen on March 5 after going dark nearly a year earlier. New safety procedures such as upgraded air filters, enhanced cleaning operations, and mandatory masks are part of the reopening requirements. NY City Lens took to the streets and asked New Yorkers if they plan to watch new releases on the big screen.
