In Brooklyn, a group of “fixers”, The Fixers Collective, aims to fight the throwaway society. Their mantra? Don’t replace, repair.
For the past five years, they’ve been meeting every third Thursday of the month in Brooklyn. There, they teach anyone that shows up how to repair their broken objects, for free.
