When the pandemic hit, restaurants, shops, and venues closed across the globe. In New York City, stages and theaters were some of the first places to shut down, and they may be the last to return. During the ever-expanding interim, the city’s musicians are scraping by collecting unemployment and dipping into retirement accounts. But this spring, NYC musicians are turning to other talents, such as cooking, to raise funds for their community by publishing a cookbook.
