Kansas City in the Big Apple

John Brown Smokehouse is New York City’s go-to for Kansas City Chiefs fans. Some call it a Kansas City “Embassy” in Long Island City. But as the Chiefs took the field for their second consecutive Super Bowl appearance, this year against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the celebrations were more subdued due to the pandemic. Still, many fans made the pilgrimage through the snow to pick up John Brown’s famous burnt ends before kickoff. We caught up with a few of them to learn what makes this smokehouse so special.
