Brian Delate, a Vietnam veteran turned actor uses theater as a way of dealing with his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Delate has experienced a degree of success and has had minor roles in films like the Truman Show, The Shawshank Redemption, Buffalo Soldiers and The Brave One.
Today, he works with his play, Memorial Day, which is a story of a Vietnam veteran coming to terms with suicide. He set out to do his play to fight his own demons, but now his play also aims at helping other veterans deal with PTSD.
