Video: The Things You Find on the Long Island Railroad

by Younjoo Sang

Have you ever lost a cell phone on the train? How about a portrait of Jesus Christ?
The LIRR Lost and Found is located in Penn Station on the Long Island Railroad Concourse level across from Tracks 13 and 14. Lost and Found Supervisor Henry Felton Jr. shows a glimpse of the strange and unusual items that passengers leave behind in the train.

If you lost an item on the Long Island Railroad, you can also:

Call 511 and speak to the LIRR Lost and Found representative, where they will fill out a lost item inquiry by phone.

Go to http://wx3.lirr.org/lirr/LostAndFound/ and fill in an online inquiry.
