Malena Carollo reports from Brooklyn for NY City Lens. Born and raised in southern California, she moved to Florida to study international relations and journalism at Eckerd College and became the editor-in-chief of the college’s award-winning student paper, The Current. Her interests include investigative journalism, privacy, security, government and gender issues.
